The crux of our approach to teaching English Language Arts will include components of Guided Reading lessons with the teacher, shared reading experiences as a class, independent reading opportunities as well as time spent listening to reading, sharing reading with peers, and building a strong vocabulary with an emphasis on word work, spelling, and writing experiences embedded into our afternoons.
